Has anyone had any great success with door knocking?  As a loan officer, I see it as a potential I haven't really tried yet.  There are so many homes for sale in my area, I think I'd like to try door knocking and presenting the home seller with some information for when they do sell their home.  I'd like to provide them with a quick app and get a pre-qual done for them, pending the sale.  Once they close, they have to live somewhere and often it involves making a new purchase.  Some will get an apartment, some may be headed … (13 comments)

I was fuming earlier tonight, and so was my client!  He is refinancing a property so he can purchase another one.  He needs to capitalize on the equity so he can cover the down payment.  Not unusual.  Well, first off he's a great guy.  He either calls me every day or I call him just so we can check in.  Well, he paid out his money for the appraisal back on 9/6.  They started the appraisal on 9/17.  Needless to say, we haven't heard a result yet!  He did make a slight change to the appraisal which would have held things … (3 comments)
