You might say why is that? A great time to sell are you kidding me? I am not kidding.... In Cape Coral and Fort Myers, Florida we have numerous opportunities for buyers to take advantage of but the prices are raising? If you want to sell your home under $150,000 you will get offers on your house. Why I say this is because the prices are going up past that price range......Perhaps you looked at selling last year or the year before and the price to sell was too low... The banks will only work out your homestead properties and if you have multple properties that are behind on their mortgages the defaulting mortgages can put liens on your other properties preventing those from being short saled. I know this because it has happened to a close and dear friend of mine who got in on all the real estate action in 2005 and now sufferring tremendously because of it.
