Amazing Statistics for Homes Sold in October! - 11/27/09 10:38 AM
How well did the housing market do last month? I think these figures speak for themselves: Compared to last October, Salt Lake County had over 23% more homes sell. Ever Since May, Utah County has had more homes sell this year than last year. In fact only three months in 2009 have had less homes sell than 2008! Davis County also had a 23% increase in home sales from last October. Unbelievable! Tooele County had 58% more homes sold in October 2009 than October 2008! For the 1st time this year Weber County has had more homes sell than a year (1 comments)
Fellow Real Estate Agent tells me....Eat it! What would you do? - 11/10/09 05:50 PM
Im Shocked! Very frustrated! Our client allowed a buyer to have a key to a duplex we had listed and go in the duplex every day they wanted to 2 weeks before closing. We fund and record. We immediately go out to get our keybox off the door. Its missing. Its gone. We call the agent immediately to find out where we can get it. He said he would ask the buyer. 2 weeks later we have to call him still he says, Ohh I found the keybox and will get it for you. 3 weeks later, we call his broker and him (7 comments)
The New Home Buyer Tax Credit - 11/06/09 12:34 PM
The First Time Home Buyer Tax credit was scheduled to end December 1st of this year. However, due to the success of the program, and it's positive effect on the economy, the Government has voted to extend the program and make more Free Money available. What does this mean for you? First time home buyers, who weren't able to get a home this year, still have a few months to get up to $8,000 to assist with the purchase of their home. The income limit has been increased making the credit available to some home buyers who may not have qualified for the previous grant. (1 comments)
Baffling! Paying for Free Information! - 11/04/09 11:55 AM
It baffles me, online sites are charging for foreclosure info! Recently I had an article come across my desk about someone who had paid a fee to sign up for foreclosure info. I couldn't believe it! I get foreclosure information for free. Not only do I get it for free but I give it to my clients for free. In the past I have had people who purchased this information from these type of sites bring me the information they paid for. When they gave it to me I was amazed with how much of the info was incorrect. Here is the complete article I came across. The article talks about how some people use deceptive online practices (9 comments)
