As part of my newspaper marketing, I have decided to post a green tip each week. I hope it will benefit my readers, as well as keep me on my toes in my own green living efforts.  Below are my tips on my January ads.
Pull out the plastic bag liners from your empty cereal boxes.  Recycle the box and use the bag as a larger freezer bag.  Close the top with a twist tie.
Store left over food in glass jars instead of plastic.  Its a good way to re-use those jam and pickle jars.

Application for the Community Heritage Commission - 01/31/08 04:04 PM
For the past week I have been considering applying for a position on the City's Community Heritage Commission.  I am, and have long been, passionate about the heritage buildings in our community.  It always saddens me to see the destruction of old buildings and the loss of our city's history.   There is more than a gaping hole when a building is removed... there is also a rip in the rich fabric that makes up our community.

Economic Activity for December 2007 - Prince George, BC - 01/14/08 02:34 PM
Overall 2007 has been an excellent year for the Prince George economy. Employment activity in
the city has been positive all year, with low unemployment and a high proportion of the labour
force fully employed. Other economic indicators continue to reflect the confidence of consumers
and business owners. Housing sales and housing starts have reached the highest levels in nearly
ten years, the total value of building permits is the highest in decades, and business license
approvals have also exceeded those of recent years. The continued strength of these economic
