To my AR Family,

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you for your love and support while I was a member of AR. I would especially like to thank those of you who prayed with me, stood in agreement with me, and offered well wishes and spiritual advice. I am resigning from the virtual business, and subsequently from AR.

I am moving on to work in my calling as a counselor; I may be relocating soon to PA as well in this pursuit. Zion is calling me to a higher place and my answer is YES!

To GOD be the glory in all things!

' Ryan , you be Jesus !'

I give God all the glory, praise, and honor today, for this is a beautiful day that He has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
 
I just wanted to share with you a revelation that I received regarding fear. Last night, I was on a conference call with my spiritual mother and big sister, and I was jokingly stating that though I recognize that we are engaged in spiritual warfare (For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places), I have this fear (likely from watching one too many horror movies) of doing battle with demonic forces head on. Both ladies did make a point that it is not of God to be fearful of anything...especially the enemy because 'greater is He that is in me, than he that is of this world' 1 John 4:4
 
When I rose this morning, God sent me directly to 1 John 4 and revealed to me just how out of order that is. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 KJV
 
 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.       2 Tim 1:7
 
When I went to the 'strongman' text, the writer declared that there were 2 kinds of fear. One which is a protective type of 'deep respect' as for God, while the other is a negative spirit of fear that chokes out faith, joy, peace, and love. There, reference was made to Job and what they enemy was able to use against him was what he said in his own words that he feared most ('For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me' Job 3:25) losing his children, wealth, and health.
 
So if you find yourself operating outside of the full power of God's love, say these words with a sincere heart, first tell the devil:
'satan in the name of Jesus, I bind your spirit of fear according to Matthew 18:18, which says very clearly, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. I will not stand for your attacks of fear. Leave me alone, this very instant and never return. If you try, I'll use the sword of the Spirit against you.'
 
Then pray:
'Father, I see that fear is not from You. I understand that fear, worry, and doubt are the negative faith of the enemy. Forgive me for ever doubting Your ability to watch over and care for me. I will trust You from this time forth as my Source of absolute security. 'Thank you Lord, Jesus, for your peace, power, love, and sound mind. I loose your Holy Spirit in my life according to Matthew 18:18 which promises that whatsoever is loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven. I refuse to allow fear to rob me of all the good things You have for Your children. I claim the mind of Christ from this day forward. Thank you for delivering me from fear. Amen.

This is a prayer request for two of my best friends. There are no medical or otherwise emergencies, just prayer for patience and peace, I guess. We have been friends since the first grade and now find that we are all growing in the Lord, but at different paces. There is the one friend who is blazing the trail in Jesus' name, and then there is the one that is sort of easing into it-thus creating this tension in their friendship. I know that once you have supped with the Lord, you want everyone that you know and love to enjoy that relationship with God, (you even want that for your enemies). I just thank God that as Zion called me to a higher place of praise, I answered "yes, Lord!". We all want the best for each other and just pray with me that God will give us all the patience and love. We all know also, that at any time, there may be a requirement that we seperate to do what God will have us do-my response to that is "your will God, your way!".

Everyone Can't Be in Your Front Row

Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully. Not everyone is holy enough and healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance.  It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships/fellowships!

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to:
Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?

The more you seek God and the things of God-the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God-the more you seek things honorable-the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth
around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people you are around! Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the front row of your life.

Let's be in prayer that this young man will not be harmed and will be safely returned to his family.

I recently attended at three night healing revival and what an awesome experience it was. I have more than a reasonable portion of health and strength (thank you Jesus!) so, I was going just to be a part of the experience and to stand in the gap on behalf of family members. Well, low and behold the prophet did call me out on the first night and informed me that I had been wrestling with a spirit of rejection...that was absolutely true. I knew that only the Holy Spirit revealed that and that spirit was bound in Jesus' name. I was also told that God had shown him a vision and that the person standing in the exact spot where I was standing was on fire for God and that God would be moving me out from where I am, and he was not talking about a building. I just give God all the glory, praise, and honor, just for being God. Since opening up the treasures God has placed in me, everything that I read, see, hear, is different. For example, there is a song that I just love to listen to by Shekinah Glory Ministries, entitled "Jesus" and I listened to this song repeatedly when I first heard it, day after day. I just loved it and it ministered to my spirit in a special way. However, it wasn't until after I had received the infilling of the Holy Spirit that I heard that the soloist speaking in tongues on this song. I still find that so amazing, I didn't hear what was being said until I heard it through holy ears! To God be the Glory in all things!

ps. I did see people who had not walk well in many years running around the church, and we received a praise report on the second night of a breast lump that went down over night-and so much more...God is just an awesome wonder and he does all things well. He will meet you at your need, if you will just trust Him and step out on faith!

Missing Child

Well, as many of you know, I have been missing in action for a while. Not really due to any specific event, just life. I just had to scale back my commitments, hobbies, etc -to include spending time in the RAIN-and focus on what "thus sayeth the Lord". In the meantime, I have developed a closer relationship with HIM as a result so it was time well spent.

I have noticed that there are quite a few changes that have taken place...what are some of the major differences over the past few months? I am just trying to get an idea of some of the goodies that are at my disposal now...

What are your favorite new AR features?

This is my new business name, VICTORY Virtual Solutions. I just wanted my business name to be more representative of my approach. I used the name VAASST for a long time, but as I have regrouped, and have become refreshed, I have re-evaluated my business model and this was one of the areas that needed to be addressed. I am very pleased with it, and the responses from clients/prospects have been positive.

Don't worry though, we stand for excellence in all that we do and that will not change.

Hello Active Rain Family!

It has been my sincere hope that all has been well with you all in my absence. I have not been an active Rainer for a while now, but I am back. I would like to take this time to say that I have missed you all and I look forward to sharing with and learning from you all again.
