Most people don't realize this but Belize is a tiny little country. Its the size of Vermont but has the population of Arlington County Virginia of approximately 200,000 people. You can still snap of a piece of Ambergris Caye real estate cheaply when comparing the price of beach front property to other parts of the Caribbean. Ambergris Caye has become one of the more popular areas for real estate development. Its an island off the coast of Belize just 35 miles north of Belize City. You may have been thinking - Palm Beach, Hyannis, Las Vegas, and a bunch of other places before I even mentioned Acapulco, but Acapulco was THE place the Kennedy's went to play back when it was just a little fishing village. What's really awesome about Acapulco is the cliff diving. Divers jump from cliffs and it looks pretty death-defying, indeed. Acapulco is one of the legendary places to visit in Mexico. Although other resort towns like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel have attracted millions of tourists every year, Acapulco will always be an American favorite.
