When sending photos in email, try to remember that many customers, clients and even colleagues still have dial-up connections.
I have DSL and I still resent a file from a broker that is over a megabyte.
When I was supporting agents and sending email photos for them, I liked to use Picasa2 and Hello from Google.  The photos are automatically sized for email, but open in a regular view size.  Picasa puts together a nice CD  package as well, including the slide show program on the CD.
