MOTIVIATIONAL MONDAY.... SO MUCH TO READ - 02/21/11 05:10 PM
As most of us do, we are always reading or catching up on one thing or another.  I thought I would pass this quote along that I read today.  It seems it hits home and at the same time it is inspirating to me... hope it is for you too.

We are drowning in information and starved for knowledge.

TURNED ON MY COMPUTER TO A WONDERFUL SURPRISE..... - 02/21/11 04:55 PM
I turned on my computer to a wonderful surprise this morning.  Every morning we all turn on our computers... and for the most part see the same emails.  Today, however, was a different story.  Today much to my surprise I had/have two referrals from prior clients.  Both wishing me to help out family members with purchasing a home.
One of them is looking in the Portland area of Connecticut and the other in Durham CT.
To me this is the best compliment/referral one can get from a client.  Today started out on a good foot.. and I hope it did for you too. That is why … (12 comments)

SERVICE WITH VERIZON WIRELESS.. not up to par - 02/07/11 08:25 AM
Service with Verizon Wireless, not up to par.  This morning like every morning, I woke up and turned on my cell phone first thing.  Once again I am having issues with the service through Verizon. Yes, this happened about 2 weeks ago.
My phone is on... but no incoming messages.  When I go online via my computer I have about 15 waiting for me.  This is not a good sign.  Next I'm wondering if my phone works.  I call my cell from a land line and it automatically rolls over to voice mail.  UGH!!  What a way to start a Monday.

LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR CLIENT, THE BUYER... BUT NOT FORGETTING ABOUT THE SELLER - 02/05/11 03:51 PM
Looking out for your client, the buyer, but not forgetting about the seller either.
My client, the buyer is looking to purchase his first home.  He has a work schedule that  is not always conducive to a normal showing schedule.  For the most part we have been able to get into all listings at one time or another.
There was one that we saw on a Saturday afternoon that he wanted to see again.  However, neither his schedule or the sellers schedule would allow it for about a week.  My client did not want to miss out on seeing this unit.  He … (25 comments)

HELPING OUT PAST CLIENTS WHO ARE DISPLACED DUE TO ROOF FRACTURES CAUSED BY SNOW - 02/04/11 03:54 PM
HELPING OUT PAST CLIENTS WHO ARE DISPLACED DUE TO ROOF FRACTURES CAUSED BY SNOW.  We've all been watching the news the last few weeks and have seen how many roofs have collapsed in Connecticut.  There doesn't seem to be a day that goes by where the media isn't reporting about one.
This morning I woke up to the news that two apartment/condo buildings in a complex here in Cromwell, CT were evacuated in the early morning hours today (4:30/5:00 am) due to structural fractures in the main support beams.
On the third floor people were woken up by a loud bang.  … (41 comments)

New York State Military Veterans, are you missing out of Real Property Tax Exemptions? - 02/02/11 04:45 PM
Kenneth makes some really *GOOD* points here.  For all our service men and woman, you need to check out what property exemptions there might be for you in the state that you live in.  You've done so much for us... this is the least we can do for you.

New York State Military Veterans, are you missing out of Real Property Tax Exemptions?
It came to my attention recently, that some veterans are not receiving their military property tax exemptions.  Some saying that they did not serve in a war zone or … (2 comments)

TAKING THE DAY OFF.... ARE YOU? - 02/02/11 04:10 PM
In my last blog, I mentioned about server issues and Gateway problems.  Seems there are a lot of us running into this problem.  So, do you know what I'm going to do about it.
I'M TAKING THE DAY OFF... but not because of the issues here... IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!

We all put up with stress, issues all year long, right... well not today, and not for me.... see you back here tomorrow.  My son made me coffee first thing this morning so I wouldn't have to, and then made me (from scratch) homemade waffles.
It doesn't get any better … (40 comments)
