I overheard one of my team members on a phone call from a solicitor just the other day and I love how she handled it. She said that, she too is in sales, and she was impressed with the callers pitch. I think if we can learn to listen to the telemarketers we can learn some of the scripts and techniques they use. We all should be nice to them as they are just doing their job. We all have to make those uncomfortable calls and just think how great it would be if everyone was a little nicer. I understand that sometimes they get you when you are home relaxing or getting ready to eat dinner. Just remember that they don't know what it is you are doing at that moment and they are just trying to earn a paycheck.
