What is it about For Sale By Owner(s)? What is it about them that scares agents so much? Do they dislike them because the owner didn't call them to list their home? Is it because for sale by owner(s) may actually know what they're doing? I commend people who attempt to sell their homes on their own. Why? Because I love real estate. Everything about it. They're not taking anything away from me when they decide to do a For Sale By Owner. If you want, why don't you take a buyer to their house and show it to them? Or … (5 comments)

After much research I have come to the conclusion that the Luxury Home Pricing trends across the country is, what I have heard as, the "best kept little known secret". They are steady! Even better, it's just getting better and better as time moves forward! Days on market are falling, prices are stabilizing and inventory is dropping. Well, luckily we live in an area where luxury home pricing trends matter! The Greater Seattle area seems to be sticking to that trend as well. Spring has brought some life to Seattle home prices in the area and nationwide, according to a new report.
The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices reported that the price of a typical home in April was up 1.6 percent from March in Snohomish and surrounding counties, and only 0.7 percent across all 20 metro areas tracked. It was the first 20-city rise in eight months and comes after only a dismal 0.1 percent increase in the entire Seattle area from the previous month.
