Springfield Missouri Weather Update! - 11/30/06 10:06 PM
We have ice and snow today, so I stayed home to work. I've answered all my phone calls, worked on Top Producer and started planning for 2007. Using the same guide every year to set my goals, but not quite satisfied, I started searching the web for a better goal planner. After several hours, totally frustrated, I went back to my original planner. I've always budgeted for newspaper advertising. This year was no exception, however, I started tracking the number of calls that turned into buyers. My internet leads by far exceeded my phone conversion. I already have two website and thinking

Thank you for joining the RE/MAX Active Rain blog - 11/28/06 08:26 PM
Being a new blogger, I am so excited to see all the changes that Active Rain has already made on my website. I have so much to learn. In April of this year, we came online with our new website. I have studied and researched everything I can to improve my team's performance this year. I truly believe the web will be 60% of my business in 2007. Knowing this, I read every night for about 3 hours blog information . If this is what being an addict is, I'm definitely on. I look forward to all that are joining in.

Springfield Missouri Real Estate News - 11/20/06 06:53 PM
This house has tradition. Built in 1900, this 8-room, 5BR 4 square masterpiece has seen America grow from the days of horse-drawn carriages to modern times. It has been rumored to have been home to suffragettes and Civil War veterans. The long, covered porch has heard tales of the days when the country was new, and the front parlor held many nervous young beaus who came courting. This happy home of the past has much happiness to give for your family's future. A rare bit of Americana can be yours for only $205,000.To see this wonderful home click here. For more information

Springfield Missouri Real Estate News - 11/15/06 08:40 PM
Read a great article today about the slow down of the Real Estate market throughout the country. The good news is that in the midwest, prices didn't get out of hand as bad as other parts of the country. According to David Lereah, the worst of the slowdown is most likely past. Take a moment to read the article on MSNBC.com. I failed to realize how the real estate market affects the economy of the entire country. Furniture stores, lumber years, appliance manufactures, yet some companies prosper. I have one agent that is busier doing BPO's and can not hardly keep up

Super Realtor! - 11/10/06 09:57 PM
When I first started my real estate career, I had friends that helped out in a local fudge shop in Branson, Missouri. The property was owned by the son of one of Silver Dollar City's famous blacksmiths. With his father deceased and his mother getting older, he had tried for several years to sell the property. Knowing my financial situation wasn't very good, my friends introduced him to me and after several hours of conversation, the owner decided to give me a chance and listed his property for $1,500,000. Not knowing a thing about selling commercial real estate, I came back to my

Springfield Missouri Real Estate News - 11/08/06 07:56 AM
<!-- --> Welcome to Greene and Christian County, Missouri!! My real estate business has been sluggish the past few weeks. I read articles every day on how to cope in a slowing market. A few tips are: Reduce advertising spending, call past clients more frequently, get out in front of more people to meet the fewer buyers, and build a sphere of influence. Working on each of these goals on a daily basis may not seem successful, but it works. Here's a great article I received this week. Alan Greenspan was in the news yesterday saying the current economic downturn was "likely temporary." Greenspan
