There is a lot to consider where buying a piece of recreational property.  It does not matter if it is ll woods, all open or on the water.  There are questions you need to ask yourself.
Who is this land primarily for?  You for hunting and or fishing. Off roading or hiking. Will there be family involved.  How about extended family. 
Who will own this property? Will this be sole ownership of with other family and or friends. How will decisions be made on it's use.
