Although a California resident, I was in Washington, DC on September 11th 2001, a corporate executive on a business trip. You could see the Pentagon burning from my hotel. I couldn't get out on a corporate jet, General Aviation activity was closed. By the time I tried to get out by rail, the trains were full. My employer told me to "just stay put". I was on an expense account...but I NEEDED to get home. I needed to be with my family.
The only travel option available to me was Greyhound bus. I spent 3-1/2 days in the system and it was an experience … (7 comments)

You can be searching for your first home, your second home, your investment property or your retirement property, but you KNOW that knowledge, dedication and service make the difference. Right? Right!
First and foremost, your Realtor should be the cornerstone of your home search and "be there" with all the answers through the inspections, appraisal, financing, closing and beyond. In other words, it takes a Village to get you where you need to be in Vero Beach or Sebastian real estate, but it starts with just one pivotal individual.

Relocation Travails & Triumphs - 09/06/06 09:28 AM
I've got clients coming in Friday with a loaded U-HAUL, parents (to help unload) and two very young children. I was the "lucky one", I found them the house that they will rent for the next 12 months. (I was their 3rd Realtor meeting on that crazy, whirlwind house-finding trip.)
I just spoke with the wife to inquire about their arrival time. She shared that the rental truck had issues and her husband had to take it to be serviced before it was loaded...just in case that check engine light really meant something. But, on the bright side, she said it was … (1 comments)
