Today I had a request to preview a foreclosure for sale in San Ramon CA from a buyer that lives a couple of hours away. The target home is in a neighborhood where we had seen homes on a prior occasion.
The decision today was video preview or virtual tour? Buyer did not specify type of reporting, simply requested that I preview and give her a summary.

Heather may work in the Eastern United States, but an FHA loan has national guidelines. So the post she has written is just as relevent to California home buyers as it is to Virginia home buyers. Dan Phillips of Eureka CA wrote this very succint and informative post about the importance of checking for open building permits prior to purchasing a home. It's great advice for any home buyer in California and elsewhere!

This post from Jennifer is right on target! I was recently speaking with a home owner who plans to go on market in a couple of months. She said "I hope it will sell", and my rapid reply was that all homes sell for the right price. I don't think we talk about this fact often enough. There is competition out there.
