downtown louisville: Homes for sale in downtown Louisville, CO ~ Pedicabs making a debut? - 04/15/12 05:14 PM
Homes for sale in downtown Louisville, CO ~ Pedicabs making a debut? The downtown area of Louisville, Co has become an amazingly popular place year round and especially during the summer Friday night faires. Throughout the majority of the summer, the downtown Louisville Friday night faire features big name bands performing live music, artisans selling their wares and a farmer's market of treats. It has become a meeting place for friends and families to meet up, eat together and share the faire. Parking has become a bit of challenge... unless of course, you don't mind arriving really early or... hiking in. (1 comments)
If you have had your eye on a new home in Steel Ranch, which is Louisville's newest and most popular housing community, there is still time. Ryland will be releasing more lots soon. Although Ryland has a priority reservation list for their homes at Steel Ranch, there are still lots available that have been released for sale to the general public. No doubt, Ryland is setting new sales records in Steel Ranch, as residents have been waiting for this newest housing community with unprecedented and pent up demand. On my recent visit to (1 comments)
downtown louisville: Louisville, A Community for Kids - 01/19/12 11:14 AM
Louisville, A Community for Kids Louisville is not only a town, it is a "community". A community that is all about families and kids and reaching out to interact and help each other. I absolutely love a story I just read in the local paper which highlighted a special project which is being spear headed by a mom of three, Amanda Hassenstab. She came up with a great idea of a "Community Sample Day." It is such a great idea, and one that can only come together and actually happen in a a place like Louisville which is a Community for (2 comments)
Louisville's own fire station located on Main Street received a piece of history from the 9/11 tragedy ~ a piece of rusted steel ~ a remnant of the World Trade Center. It's a reminder of all the lives lost, 10 years ago, on 9/11 and the sacrifice made by so many of New York's finest fire fighters who gave all to serve others.
The rusted segment of the world trade center will be on permanent display at the Fire Station to honor the 343 fire fighters who (5 comments)
Money Magazine has voted Louisville, Co as the number one best place to live in the country! This isn't the first time Louisville has received this designation from Money Magazine. To residents of Louisville, this repeat of the designation doesn't come as any surprise. There is just something special about Downtown Louisville beyond all of the sunshine and its proximity to Boulder and Denver. There is a real seance of community in Louisville, which is absent from its surrounding communities. People love to live in Louisville, but they also love doing (7 comments)
Having lived in Boulder County for more than 34 years, I love taking a morning to meet a friend or colleague at a local restaurant or coffee shop at least a couple of times a week. It keeps me connected with them beyond the typical emails, facebook and phone calls. It's a chance to set across a table from them and have a "real" conversation; eye-to-eye. This morning, I chose The Huckleberry in Downtown Louisville, CO. The Huckleberry is a Neighborhood Restaurantt located on main street (doesn't get anymore downtown that that). From the (10 comments)
If you have been looking at new homes in Boulder County, you haven't had a plentiful number of new home communities to choose from. So it is with much excitement I write today about a new home community that is underway in LOUISVILLE, Colorado. Not only is Boulder County considered a desirable place to live, but Louisville, in particular has received a lot of attention (both locally as well as nationally). Louisville was voted as the best place to live two years in a row by Money Magazine. And while many communiities (0 comments)
This beautiful Downtown Louisville, Custom Home is Under Contract! Located in the highly, desirable Bridgefield neighborhood, this home is within easy waking distance of the downtown Louisville neighborhood restaurants, library, schools, swimming pool, recreational center, farmer's market, walking and biking trails. Situated on just under a half acre lot, this home has spectacular, park-like back yard. The selling family fondly referred to it as their "sports lawn." Complete with concrete gaming surface, designated, regulation-sized volleyball area, multi-tiered deck/patio, water feature, and multiple raised flower and vegetable garden areas.
Here are the market stats for Louisville for the month of August 2010 as compared to August 2009 Total # of Sold properties decreased by 47.8%. There were only 12 sales in Louisville for the month of August. Year to date sales are also down although not to the same degree, only 2.2% Average days to contract decreased (which is a positive change to 57 days down 6.6%. Average Sales Price increased by 19.5% to $475,893. Keep in mind that this average represents only the average of only those homes which actually sold (0 comments)
