The Mesquite NV Real Estate Market is busy with low inventory and prices holding. Several subdivisions are going up in price with new listings selling quickly. Realtors have to be on the ball and notify waiting buyers as soon as a listing goes on the market. New homes are selling at higher prices than last year, the builders are working hard to get these new homes done on time.
And we are hearing from all over the country that real estate is moving - not just Mesquite NV.

Is your Mesquite home staged to sell? Or is it just beautifully decorated to your tastes? Most sellers do not realize how well their home can show - and some staging tips are simple and inexpensive. A seller should look at their own home from a buyer's eyes.
Staging doesn't just mean putting out some cute decor and a welcome mat - :)

Mesquite has "enjoyed" a hot weather streak for about 4 months. Wednesday, I washed my car. It rained that evening. Thursday, I washed my dog - it rained as soon as I got him to the dog park. Now we are waiting for a storm to hit - I see it coming from the southeast, usually I can see Scenic Arizona from here.
Just wish it were a bigger storm to help put out some of the fires threatening folks in the southwest states.

The new St George, Utah airport has been open for over a year now - much closer to Mesquite NV than McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Most flights are to Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, but that means that you can fly anywhere with a connecting flight - good news for Canadians, too. Both Delta and United have flights operated by Skywest.

One of my favorite things to do is to take I-15 north, get off at Beaver Dam-Littlefield exit. Take a drive on old Highway 91, then left through the Shivwits Paiute Reservation to the reservoir at Gunlock State Park, about a 45 minute drive from Mesquite. I actually stumbled upon this great little lake when I took a wrong turn while looking for the Kayenta subdivision on the way to Santa Clara, Utah. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, no matter what time of year it is.

Mesquite Police Department will be blocking off Yucca Street next to City Hall on Monday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for the fourth annual Mesquite Trunk or Treat party.
Local businesses and residents have volunteered donations, as well as their time to pass out Halloween candy to all the "little monsters" who attend.
With so many gated communities and second homes in Mesquite, not all neighborhoods here are ghost and goblin friendly. Many of our snowbirds haven't arrived for the winter yet.

This home was in one of the higher price ranges of MLS listings here, they do not get as many showings as the lower priced homes in our area. I take so many pictures of homes for sale, this time I turned my back to the gorgeous back patio and got this shot of one of the ponds.

A rhinoceros was spotted hiding in the jungle in a backyard of a home for sale in Mesquite NV. The huge animal was discovered by a Kokopelli landscaping crew while attempting to trim the plush palm trees that surround the perimeters of this park-like immense back yard.
OK, don't worry - it turned out to be a very large rhino-shaped rock. I admit, I can't even spell rhinocerous. I had to spellcheck it.
