Is anyone really out there?

I'm just getting involved in Social Networking and I have to admit it's a little overwhelming!  With such a huge emphasis on the need to be blogging and networking I am questioning; "is anyone really out there?"  or are we all so busy getting involved that we don't have the time to read all the posts.  Makes me remember a test I tried back in high school (probably before most of you were born!) back in the 70's.  My favorite Government teacher, assigned us a project where we were to follow current events for 3 months, cut out published articles and write a summary on each one.  By the end of the assingnment, I had hundreds of articles but I really doubted my teacher would read all of them, so I decided to put her to the test. On about page 129, in the middle of a paragraph, in the middle of a sentence, I inserted the statement..."Mary had a little lamb, it's fleece was white as snow, and if you are reading this, I'm sure you'll let me know" and then I continued with the rest of the sentence.  To my surprise, my teacher actually caught my little experimental verse and gave me 10 extra points for "my creative poetry".  So, here I am again, retrying the theory and now, let's see if you will let know if you are really reading this!
