There have been many phonecalls lately for lead-based paint inspection here in Nassau and Suffolk counties, and people are becoming more knowledgable with regards to inspection for lead-based paint when they are purchasing or renovating.
Lead safe work practices are being enforced through the state, and I have been getting more and more calls for lead paint testing and inspection for homeowners who just want to know, and for contractors as well.

Sorry for not blogging lately.  I just got tired of trying to come up with relevant content. I noticed I had repeated several blogs too, so I didnt want to become a stale blogger.
I have also been busy with the short sale I bought last year here in Bohemia, N.Y. in August.
This is part of why I haven't blogged. I gutted the kitchen, the three bedrooms, the basement and garage, and now I have re-wired with new Romex about one half of the house. There was NO insulation in the walls, and the wiring is heat damaged where it enters … (5 comments)
