This is the type of market that in two years people who don't buy are going to say, "man I wish I had bought then.  Prices are down in most gorgeous Prince Georges County zip codes as much as  22% from last year at this time.  Banks are being more realistic and dropping prices to unload inventory and foreclosures are selling at a rapid pace.  Prince Georges is in central Maryland and an easy commute to Washington DC, Annapolis Md. Aberdeen Proving Ground and the Pentagon in Virginia.  Now is the time to buy and a great place to relocate.

Housing Statistics - Prince Georges County Md. - 02/05/09 09:29 AM
Now is an unbelievable time to buy property.  I really wish I had prepared better and could buy some investments.  Prices have dropped below 200k just 15 miles from Washington DC, close to golfing and a marina.  Prices are now where they were 10 years ago.  Smart people who did not use their homes has ATM machines are still in good positions and are able to move up into mini-mansions for tens of thousands less than just a year ago.  With the recent tax incentives and low interest rates now is a great time to be in the market for a home.  Happy … (0 comments)

My Vacation - - 02/04/09 02:38 PM
Hi there, we haven't had time to talk about my vacation.  I was going to call you last night but I was too tired.  I had the hope of getting up and getting to work on time (which would be a first for this year) but didn't make it. This is going to be a long e-mail so you might want to print it out and read it in stages (ha ha) but true.

Inventory Dropping - 02/04/09 09:35 AM
I have heard it before "the market is on a rebound" well the spirit is in the air and it's true.  Have you felt it too.  My contacts are up, showings are up and my office is a beehive of activity.  Our foreclosure inventory is dropping and the very best properties are being snatched up.  I love real estate it's a buyers market and the buyers are beginning to thaw out. Put on your running shoes and let's go get them.

Safety First - 02/02/09 07:43 PM
 I have a policy that I always meet new customers in my office.  Well this customer lived 50 miles away.  After a couple of conversations and sending her some properties to view we agreed to meet in the middle.  However when I said we would meet at a fast food restaurant instead of at a vacant property she canceled the appointment.  Not sure what that was about but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Went out for girls night out and had a blast.  Simple dinner and a movie made me realize that this Real Estate thing had been all consuming and I had not been out in such a long while unless it was networking at some Realtor function.  Many have given the advice to plan your work around your play and with this market and working more diligently I let the play slip away.  Now is the time to reorganize and put some down time back onto the calendar.  I hope you will as well.
