It's almost that time.  Buyers are waiting till the last minute to look for property and still get the $8,000.00 tax credit.  They are not thinking that there are but so many weekend left till November 31, and that there are but so many hours in a day.  As Realtors we must continue to shout at them till they hear us or they will miss out on this great benefit.

Thank you, thank you NSP and the 8,000 tax credit.  These things have brought the home buyers out, thank you and what is next? Can you see the down slide after November 31. What can be done to keep up the momentum?

It's a great day in the neighborhood and it is.  The market is picking up in our Gorgeous Prince Georges County.  We have the Neighborhood Stabilization Plan and many people are doing what they need to do to take advantage of the program.  The program allows up to 7 percent toward down payment and closing costs for first time home buyers to purchase foreclosed properties.  The landscape is changing and many foreclosed properties are now in the hands of families that are painting and remodeling and getting involved in the neighborhoods that they live in.  It is a beautiful thing to … (0 comments)
