The Claude P. Street Piano Company was founded in 1914 in downtown Nashville. It passed through 3 generations of Streets, and Bob the grandson retired a few years ago when the store relocated to Franklin TN. Many have seen the Yamaha sign as they go about their everyday errands in the Cool Springs/ Franklin shopping district off Mallory Ln and Cool Springs Blvd. The store, located across Mallory Ln from Kroger and Marty&Liz Shoes, will be closing its doors permanently.
