Westcreek Park is located in the western part of the newer neighborhood of Wolf Ranch - in Northeast Colorado Springs, and just east of the intersection of Powers Blvd. and Research Pkwy. It is right at the intersection of Coyote Creek Dr. and Winding Passage Dr. This park boasts stunning panoramic views of Pikes Peak and the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Stetson Park and Stetson Skate Park are located in Stetson Hills - just Southwest of Jedediah Smith Rd. and Stetson Hills Blvd. and East of Powers Blvd. Stetson Park has a ½ mile of walking paths surrounding it and plenty of grassy areas and dedicated play space. The front of the park has a large grassy field and a multi-structure playground with swings on the northern border. There is also a shaded pavilion for family picnics. When Summertime hits Colorado ... it gets HOT! We have a low humidity index - roughly 20% lower than a lot of the nation. We are also a Colorado Springs is also a high desert - not a lot of water! SO, the water that we DO have, we LOVE! One place that kids (and adults) love to gather on hot days is Uncle Wilbur Fountain - one of many beautiful art structures in downtown Colorado Springs that also doubles as a play fountain, on the SW corner of Bijou and Tejon in Acacia Park. Colorado Springs offers many places for dog owners to hike, play, run and have all kinds of fun with their dogs. Dogs are welcome in any city park or on any city trail as long as they are leashed and under control. However, there are also some "off-leash" areas where well-behaved dogs and their well-behaved owners can play. These include Dog Runs and Dog Parks.
