This has been quite an unusual week for us!  We made the decision to switch brokerages recently and interviewed with several "big names".  We feel that having a big name brokerage behind you can help sellers feel more confident that they have a big company behind you.  We've read the comments about this from other agents and agree 100% - it's the agent that matters, not the company.  But it does go back to perception.  Some people won't shop at Walmart, they would rather shop at Macys because they don't feel they can get a superior product at Walmart, right or wrong.  … (6 comments)

My response to the 60 Minutes Real Estate story - 05/15/07 04:44 PM
I was watching this news story and was really dissapointed at the bias they took.  Naive me thinks that when 60 minutes does a story, they uncover the truth and present it to all of us.  That's not what I saw with this program - WOW!  Here's the response I sent to CBS News:
