Summertime brought the average days on market time down a bit, but homes on average are still taking longer to sell than in the past several years.  We still have a pretty balanced marketplace where buyers have time to look around and choose their favorite home without  a lot of pressure, yet homes that are updated, staged, and priced well are selling pretty quickly.  Sellers who are getting quicker sales are pricing a bit aggressively to stand out from everyone else and get showings.  In some zipcodes there are literally hundreds of homes for sale and those with the best prices are getting the most buyers … (2 comments)
