Plainfield New Jersey's Camp Discovery Day Camp is underway and there are just a few slots remaining. The camp runs from Monday - Friday, June 28 - July 23, 9 AM - 3 PM. the camp is for children 8 - 11 (entering grades 3, 4 and 5). Arts, swimming, field trips, drama, community gardening, plus learning experiences in reading, science and math will be available. Cost: $25-$150/week (sliding scale - scholarships available). Plainfield New Jersey's 87th Annual Independence Day Parade - 07/01/10 12:22 PM
Come join us on Saturday July 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM for the  87th Annual Independence Day Parade. Parade commences on East Front Street at the corner of Johnston Avenue to Park Avenue. Following the parade you are invited to join us for an Independence Day Fiesta  in Lot 8, between Front Street stores and the Green Brook. Come and join us for Plainfield, New Jersey's free fourth of July fireworks at Cedar Brook Park on July 2. 9:30 PM.  The venue is the creation of the famed Olmsted Brothers of Boston.
