High school students are hired to provided tutoring in math and English for elementary school age children. That program was called 'Steppin`Out'.This program allowed our mentally ill adults take part in everydayactivities like exploring history museums, attending baseball games,enjoying day outings to public parks for picnics and play, and otherleisure and social fare. Cancer survivors will be honored by Plainfielders in the Third Annual Relay for Life Overnight Event. The function starts this evening at 6:00 PM from the Hub Stine Field at and will end at 7:00 AM on Sunday, May 23, 2010. There are 42 teams organized to walk through the night in an effort to raise funds to find a cure. A luminaria Ceremony will be held at 9:00 PM. A benefit for Haiti relief will be underway this Saturday, March 27th at 7:00 PM. The evening features a reception, fine art exhibit featuring the works of Darlene Foster, Ivan Lo and Jeremy Langdon.
