Dallas Symphone Orchestra free concert - 05/24/12 06:21 AM
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is returning to Exall Park for a free concert on May 29th.
What is becoming an annual event is great family fun.  In addition to a fantastic performance there are many kid activities, petting zoo, face painting, bounce house, magician and concessions.
Events begin at 5pm and the concert should end around 9pm.
Exall park is located on Live Oak between Adair and  Skiles.

How I Handle Telemarketing Calls - 05/18/12 07:28 AM
I recently read a blog on how that individual handled spam calls.
Even though we are on the Do Not Call List we still get plenty of telemarketing calls.
Here is how I take calls (with translation).
Me:  Bonjour (hello)
Caller: Mr. Weeks
Me: Oui (yes)
Caller: Mr. Weeks
Me: Oui c’est moi (yes it’s me)
CallerL Do you speak English?
Me: Je ne parle pas Anglais (I do not speak English)
Me: Je parle le Francais (I speak French)
Next thing I hear is the sound of the caller hanging up.
I would not recommend trying this in Spanish
