Family Times- My How Fast They Grow!!!
Our family keeps on growing. Being parents of adult children and a ten year old is very busy, keeping us young! Then add all the grandchildren into the mix and we have one big, happy and busy family! Our son loves being the uncle to so many little ones! He takes such great care of them, a handy babysitter.
We have not shared photos of them with you for a while, so here we go:
Our son- ten years old now! Remember when he was a little 4 year old on ActiveRain? I will … (1 comments)

family times: Our oldest Granddaughter turned 5 years old- My, how time flies! - 11/17/12 11:13 AM
I can not believe that 5 years went by this fast since one of our daughters had her first baby, a baby girl. It seems like just yesterday I was holding her as a newborn in my arms.
Aylandra is our oldest granddaughter, the oldest of 6 grandchildren now.

Our youngest son turned 10 this fall and that is another hard to believe event. He is such a good uncle to all of his nieces and nephews at such a young age.
We had a Hello Kitty party for her and she scored it big with a lot of new … (10 comments)

Here is our youngest son holding our youngest grandson. So this is the uncle holding his new nephew. This is such a precious image of baby Noah looking into our son's eyes so intently. One of our daughters is being sent back to Afghanistan today. She is our second oldest daughter out of four girls. She is the 5th in birth order of our nine children. She has 5 brothers. This will be her third tour of duty in the middle east. She just got married a couple of months ago. She is a great soldier and serves our country with pride and dignity. We are asking you to please pray for her safety and that she comes back home again safely. I also pray that this is the last time she has to go … (18 comments)

Speechless Sunday - New Baby Grandson is Born!!!
What more can I say? The photo tells it all:) Noah was born on Thursday July 5th at 5:47 p.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. He is very healthy and OH so beautiful. Our daughter Tirzah is doing fine along with her 3 year old son. We are so thankful for everyone's prayers and thoughts the day she went to the hospital. It is amazing how all the support was felt in the hospital room.

Playing baseball as a youth instills good and healthy values that stay with the boys for the rest of their lives for most. Playing baseball leads to better health and higher earnings for boys who stay with it through college. Here we are yesterday after our son finished  playing the final championship game for the Wellington International All Stars 9/10 yr olds. He was the youngest and smallest on the team. There is only one other 9 yr old on our team. The play by play of his pitching is forthcoming:)

Speechless Sunday- What Fun The Kids Have!
Our son and our granddaughter found an app for the ipad called, "Puss in Boots". Then they found a photo we took recently at the Florida Homeschool Convention in Orlando at Gaylord's Resort. They applied the different features of the app to the photo all by themselves. I was looking for a photo to post for Speechless Sunday and found this one in my photo stream on my mac- so here it is:)

family times: Speechless Sunday-Do I Really Need To Be Here? - 05/19/12 02:30 PM
I found this really cute photo of our son and granddaughter from Halloween in 2010. Our little granddaughter's eyes tell the story- as if to say- "Do I really have to stand her and pose for you?" It was so cute I just had to share it with you on Speechless Sunday. She is either upset that she has to wear that costume or she is upset that she has to stand next to our son all decked out in Star Wars gear.:)

And I am learning a lot about baseball.

Then there is our oldest grand-daughter who is now 4 years old. Do you remember when she was born? I remember even writing the story of her birth on ActiveRain!

Here is our next oldest grand-kid, our grandson. He is now 3 years … (14 comments)

family times: Family Times- Sharing The Ups and Downs - 07/23/11 02:26 PM
Our little grandson has some early teeth issues. He refuses to sit still in a dentist chair and it is a really difficult task to get his teeth brushed. Here he is, after getting out of surgery to get a couple of teeth filled, getting caps put on his front teeth and straightening the front teeth at the same time so the caps would fit. He is doing just fine:)

family times: It All Started In The Rain... Connections Beyond Business... - 04/24/11 11:24 AM
Many of you have been reading our blog for a long time so you will remember the post where I said that we had a BIG SURPRISE happen in our lives. And I said, no I was not pregnant, LOL! So many of you have asked me when I was going to let you in on this event since I did mention that there was a very important event that we found out about.
We could not announce this blessing that came into our lives until all the parties involved were told in private first and we needed to make … (40 comments)

Family Times Bring Big Smiles! The Babies Are Growing up so FAST!
This Christmas was the first Christmas that we did not have almost the entire group of kids here for our Christmas Eve celebration yet it was still very memorable. After all, how can it not be with little ones running around all over the place with their innocent laughter and bright smiles?  Each Christmas it is a tradition in our family that we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. We gather around the tree with home made goodies and snacks to nibble on while listening to the telling of … (9 comments)

family times: Family Times- Sharing Time! - 11/08/09 11:34 AM

I wrote this post announcing our Trunk or Treat that we hold annually in our church parking lot. We had a great turn out! Each year we have such fun and now that our son and our grand children are getting just a tad bit older it is becoming even more fun.
We must have had at least 300 children show up for the Trunk or Treat and they all got to go around the cars trick or treating at least 3 times. That really got their buckets and bags filled up with all that candy.
We also … (19 comments)

I wrote my post about what we did for Easter but I did not have my camera with me when I was writing the post. My daughter who is now our executive assistant and new listing manager had my camera to take some photos of some of our new listings.

Then at the Tea Party in West Palm Beach Florida I discovered that my Flip Video was full!  I have been uploading all the video to my computer. I had forgotten that I had this cute short video of our son running around our Church grounds gathering up plastic … (15 comments)
