Please don't let them take your home! - 01/19/10 07:59 PM
Please don't let them take your home!

Hello. I want to take a minute to talk to you if you are in jeopardy of losing your home to foreclosure.  I am sure you don't want to talk to anyone about this.  I imagine you are pretty depressed, scared and don't know where to turn.  Maybe friends or family are telling you to just stay in your home for free until they actually do foreclose.
I suppose in theory that might sound like a good idea, but not really and let me tell you why.  If you have any emotional … (5 comments)

They say it never rains in Southern California...NOT!!
San Pedro CA Real Estate

Well I have to admit that most of the time we are spoiled here.  It averages at least 70 degrees even in December and January.  So I won't complain because we really need the rain.  But wow!  I woke up to the sound of rushing water and I thought my house was getting flooded!  I ran around trying to focus my eyes and get my faculties going so I could understand where that sound was coming from...
All the faucets were turned off and I didn't … (4 comments)

First time home buyers in Los Angeles County, How bad do you want it? - 01/15/10 09:56 PM
     Attention First time home buyers:
How bad do you want it?

I know that sounds bad doesn't it?  Some Realtor asking you how bad do you want it?  I mean that sounds like I am looking for the desperate so I can take advantage!  Well not exactly...
Let's take a closer look at why I ask...
In 2009 I worked with several first time home buyers.  Each one had their ideas about how the process worked.  Each one had their expectations.  The thing was that even if they were really realistic and had done all of their homework, the … (4 comments)

Being a Realtor~ What does it mean to you? - 01/15/10 07:40 PM
Being a Realtor~
What does it mean to you?

Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about how blessed I am to have the career of being a Realtor!  People go to college with lofty aspirations and some actually get a degree and work in their field, HAPPILY! Some people graduate and think, "Why did I go into this industry? What was I thinking!!?"  I think being happy in your profession is really important because if you love it, you are probably going to do great at it!
Of course there is the famous quote, "Do what you … (42 comments)

22nd Street Park Grand Opening
San Pedro CA

After waiting with anticipation for our new 22nd St. park's opening, the day finally came here in San Pedro California!  It was a gorgeous day in January for a celebration like this!  It must have been 78 degrees!!  The grass is so green and stretches out across the 18-acre park.
Los Angeles/San Pedro Mayor Antionio Villaraigosa told the hundreds of attendees that this park was keeping with his vision for a green San Pedro.

"What a terrific day to open this beautiful park," he said. "Today the community reclaims this scenic piece … (1 comments)

Can I help you?
No we are just looking!
San Pedro CA Real Estate

In my career as a Realtor, I have learned that sometimes people just aren’t ready to buy a home the first time you talk to them.  They want to educate themselves first.  They don’t want to be sold and they don’t want to be forced into something.  They are not going to let anyone make them purchase before they know all the ins and outs of buying.  They aren’t going to get taken advantage of like when they bought their last new car. … (16 comments)

My favorite shop in SAN PEDRO CALIFORNIA!! - 01/08/10 03:09 PM

Grand Emporium
My favorite shop in San Pedro California

I have to admit I am a sucker for anything that has to do with hearts and flowers or has a Victorian era flare.  With this shop it starts with the outside appearance of the store front which is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel like you are in England walking through a small quaint village.

The Grand Emporium is located in downtown San Pedro and is right next to the Whale & Ale which, if you are in the mood for fish and chips is … (3 comments)
