In my early days here on Active Rain I was a frequent and passionate poster regarding the Sub-Prime crisis.  I've argued from day one that the solution to this problem is a government type program that would extend the introductory period on adjustable sub-prime loans.

Today the President of NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers) sent out another call to Action regarding HR3915.  The fight to do the right thing for the consumer and for those of us in the Real Estate Industry.  The next round of congressional voting regarding HR3915 takes place on Thursday, November 15th.  Many Amendments will likely be offered up on the floor today.

If you are on the mortgage side of the business I'm sure that your in-box has been slammed with NAMB notifications on the Tuesday November 6th vote for the Anti-Predatory Lending Act of 2007, Bill HR3915.
While the bill is still in it's early stages, ALL OF US involved in Real Estate, should let our voices be heard regarding the passage of this bill.  If it passes it will effect Real Estate Professionals across the board, not just the mortgage professionals.

Over the past year a new phenomenon has hit the the United States from the world Down Under.  It's called an Australian Mortgage and refers to a financial strategy that's been used in the Australian and European markets for many years.
