It’s bounded by Lee Highway to the north, Wilson Boulevard to the south, Veitch Street to the east, and Kirkwood Road to the west. It’s convenient to both the Clarendon and Court House Metro stations. For those who prefer four wheels (or two) to the rails, it’s also convenient to major commuter routes, such as I-66 and the George Washington Parkway.

Just a few miles from Arlington National Cemetery and the National Mall, the Cherrydale neighborhood has a rich history.
According to the Cherrydale Citizens Association, Union troops camped out there during the Civil War. After the war, many of them stayed in the area and made Cherrydale their home. Cherrydale continued to prosper throughout the years, and in 2003 was granted a National Historic Site designation.
