focus on the energy crisis, BEFORE it becomes a 'Crisis' - 01/31/09 11:48 AM
Yes, gas prices have dropped by a tremendous amount. From high prices of more than $5/gallon in some parts our our country to lower than $1.50/gallon. Even today, prices are still well below $2/gallon.
BUT, they are creaping up and I would like some attention to the energy crisis before it becomes a "Crisis"!
my best ideas for cheaper gas.
The extra disposable income can go towards economic consumption which helps the economy, creates, jobs, ideas, innovation, more revenue for the government, more social programs and ultimately more wealth for all.

A hedge against inflation is the most important reason to own a home - 01/27/09 04:18 PM
A hedge against inflation is arguably the most important reason to own a home in Phoenix.
Simply, put if you buy real estate in Scottsdale and you monthly mortgage payment on a 30-year fixed rate mortgage is , for example, $2,000/month, that payment is fixed for 30 years and never increases. It actually will go down.
As inflation goes up (which it always does) and rents in your area and home prices rise, your monthly payment never changes for 30 years.
You know that the amount you pay on your Scottsdale or Phoenix area home per month is fixed in time … (7 comments)

determine if home buying is right for you - 01/24/09 04:39 PM
After you call a Wexzilla realtor (ok, I couldn’t help shameless self-promotion) ,
follow this step-by-step home buying checklist.
Answer these Questions to determine if home buying is right for you.
1.Will you be in your current job for at least 3-5 years?
2.Do you see any major family changes children are a large expense and selling a home through a divorce or separation is not an ideal scenario for best results.
3.Will a new mortgage test your financial limits? - there is no reason to work so hard to barely pay a mortgage on a home you cannot enjoy.

Here’s what to do to protect yourself if you are selling your home and want to make sure a cash-offers is legitimate.

How Sellers can help Buyers purchase homes - 01/19/09 01:17 PM

We are suffering in many of the towns of Maricopa County, North Phoenix, Peoria, and Glendale where we have been designated a ‘declining area" ; thus  tightening credit further in most of Arizona.
Across the country, lenders have significantly tightened credit and lending standards, making it a challenge for even the most credit worthy buyers to obtain financing.
