I've commented previously about the western West Virginia, southern Ohio and eastern Kentucky region covered by the Huntington MLS weathering the housing market storm very well with a 7% increase in number of residential sales in 2007 as compared in 2006. Well, we finally hit a speed bump as the number of sales in the first quarter of 2008 were down 20% from the same period in 2007. The two areas who felt the most impact were the Proctorville, Ohio area (down over 50%) and the Ona & Milton district (30% fewer home sales). … (1 comments)
