Any avid Huntington area golfer and most part-time golfing hacks like myself have played the course at Lavalette Golf Club. It's a challenging public course open 363 days a year. Pro Shop Manager Gil told me he closes the course on Christmas and Thanksgiving. Every other day they're open (weather permitting). Last year 340 acres around the course and the golf course itself was sold. Now, it's Twin Silos Golf Club; named for the dual landmarks between the 9th & 18th fairways.
