The local paper reported over the weekend that building permits have risen over the past two months in Horry County. This is a great sign for the Myrtle Beach area market. Yes there are a lot of great deals on the market, but if builders can afford to build new homes, it will not only help the real estate market, but the local economy because people will be needed in every phase of construction.
