          When people are selling their homes, there is sometimes an unnecessary presence. Sellers (and sometimes their agents) remaining in their homes during a showing to potential buyers. I cannot fathom why any seller would so eagerly and willingly sabotage the sale of their home in such a fashion. Nor can I imagine why an agent would be a party to such a move. I’ve been reading and hearing about how discouraging it has been (and still is, for some) to work with people trying to save their homes, only to have the banks engage in all types of shenanigans that result in those same people losing their homes to the banks.
 
I’ve also heard and read about the negative perception that many people have of real estate agents; the most common phrase is “you only care about the sale”.
