Many times, I work with Sellers and that's great but, as an agent, it's a good idea to work with a few Buyers so you don't get rusty at it--& I DO work with Select Buyers. What I'd like to discuss today is Making a Good Offer With--or As--a Buyer. Is Florida going to do something similar here in the next little while so that First-Time Home-Buying Floridians can also get access to the $8,000 Tax Credit as a means to pay for the down payment? Via Marty Woomer (Windermere Real Estate/WSI): There was an interesting article in Saturday's Seattle Times which talks about using the Stimulus money for closing costs and down payment assistance. It details which states are eligible, and outlines the process. Obviously, consult your CPA, but it appears that it is essentially a bridge loan (2 comments)
