South Metro Denver Golf Properties - 05/30/12 01:47 PM
South Metro Denver Golf Properties - With the passing of Memorial weekend and the unofficial start to the summer season, golf has been in full swing for several weeks now. The courses are green and beautiful and now is as good a time as any to find that perfect golf course home.
I focus on golf course properties in the south metro Denver market, my definition of south metro Denver is basically from Hampden south to Castle Rock and from the foothills on the west to the edge of Elbert County, this encompasses approximately 35 golf courses and currently 31 … (3 comments)

Communication - The #1 requirement to be successful in real estate - 05/25/12 10:00 AM
Communication - The  #1 requirement to be successful in real estate- I meet with a lot of new agents and many of them ask what the top skill to be successful is in real estate? Many of them tell me they are personable or good with people or they have been told that they would make a great real estate agent by a friend or acquaintance that is already in real estate.
One of the most common comments I have heard people say over the years is "I have been told I have the gift of gab and that I would … (25 comments)

The Denver Music Institute - 05/23/12 02:50 PM
The Denver Music Institute I thought it would be a good idea to talk a little about one of south Denvers best resources for music and voice lessons. Several years ago when my youngest son was just 7 or 8 years old I could not help notice when we were driving around, he had a very uncanny knack of playing the "air drums" along with whatever song happened to be on the radio. I did not think much of it at first, but as I really listened to the song he was matching every single beat of the drums, with his … (0 comments)

Golf And Real Estate Are A Lot Alike - 05/13/12 06:11 PM
I couldn't agree more, I have always said golf is a microcosm of life, if you spend 5 hours with someone on the golf course whether they are good or not does not matter but how they play and how they carry themselves will say so much about their true character.
If a person takes a short cut, or tries to better his/her lie, then you better believe they will do the same in the real world, I used to be in a position where I hired employees for my company, I would take them to the golf course for their … (3 comments)

Book Review - UnMarketing Stop Marketing. Start Engaging by Scott Stratten - 05/07/12 09:15 AM
Book Review - UnMarketing Stop Marketing. Start Engaging by Scott Stratten - I heard this book mentioned on a recent Activerain seminar and had to go right out and find it. Scott was one of the four guests for the biggest Activerain webinar event to date. Listening to him, there was an immediate connection and I think everyone else on the webinar also felt it.
What I love about this book is you can actually picture Scott standing there giving you this information, and as he mentions in one fo the chapters, he is actually narrating the book into a software … (7 comments)

It is really crazy out there! - 05/05/12 08:18 AM
It is really crazy out there! And I don't know if it is good or bad, but definitely exciting. I have a few buyers right now that are finally realizing that there has never been a better time to buy, (actually I think it was better 3-5 months ago when no one else was shopping)
I had 11 homes on the list to show to a buyer today, I called yesterday to set them up, 3 responded with no showings today, or they declined, 3 have not even responded yet, it is 9:15 AM and I am supposed to show from … (10 comments)
