OPEN HOUSE TIPS AND TASKS
There are several hundred specific items that agents and homeowners can do to get a home ready for an Open House.
Both the agent and the homeowner should be in agreement that an Open House is the right event to use to expose the property to potential buyers. If both parties are not in agreement, the Open House will be wated effort and the one party not supporting the effort will likely be frustrated and disappointed in the outcome.

Some people are taking advantage of homeowners who are in trouble on their mortgages by offering to provide foreclosure assistance, for a fee, and providing zero help; in short a scam.
My guess is that some for hire foreclosure experts can help some homeowners. However, every dollar spent on the services of an expert is a dollar not available to pay the mortgage or other daily expenses.
Before you get into a loan, take a look at some of the most commonly recommended ratios debt to equity, etc to check where you stand. Try some "what if" scenarios to get comfortable … (2 comments)

Market Activity Report (Timberwood Park) - 04/03/09 10:05 PM
Maybe the combination of lower of gas prices, from the historic highs of last year, and the hope that the stimulus packages, and bailouts will make things better are helping us see a boost in real estate activity in the Timberwood Park area. I know many of the people I worked with last year wanted to find homes inside Loop 1604 becasue of fuel prices and commuting time. That really slowed activity for me in Stone Oak, Bulverde Road corridor, and Timberwood Park. Things are looking better in 2009.
