Okay... the market for flipping homes is taking a turn for the worse due to all the sub-prime issues and you're focusing on another niche... being a landlord. With all those sub-prime buyers not being able to buy, they're having to lease so there's lots of demand for homes to rent.
So, how do you take advantage of this?
An interesting way to get into the property investment game is to buy yourself a new home. What? Buy myself a new home? Yup. And lease out your existing home or apartment or town-home.

I've been working on http://www.thewoodlands-houses.com/ now for over a year. In that time it's grown from a small site trying to squash as much information as I could onto 15 pages (all I was allowed on the "FREE" product from my provider) to now where there is so much information on I'm not quite sure how many pages... I'll have to count them one day.
So... you can find all the schools in the woodlands, all the churches in the woodlands, other service providers and so on. It's becoming an incredibly useful resource for people relocating to The Woodlands. Imagine someone … (0 comments)

Well, we all know the sub-prime lenders are going out of business... right? No big news there. So, how has that affected the market for homes in The Woodlands?The other day an investor client of mine asked me to look at some property in Timber Ridge which is just South of The Woodlands. I found some very interesting results...
I looked at the sales and rentals in one road - Willie Way. What did I find?
It took about 70 days on average to sell a home, while it took around 22 days on average to lease a  home.
