All newly licensed sales associate and broker licensees must take required post-licensure education before the end of the first license renewal period. Your license will become null and void if you fail to take the post-licensure education within the initial licensure renewal period, as mandated by Florida statute.

This type of depreciation includes ordinary wear and tear caused by use, lack of maintenance, exposure to the elements, and physical damage.  Brittle roof shingles and worn out central air conditioning compressor are examples of depreciation caused by physical deterioration.  If correction of a defect results in as much added value as the cost to correct, the defect is said to be curable.  An incurable defect is one in which the cost of curing the defect is greater than the value added by the cure.

Grounds for Revocation - 01/15/11 03:42 PM
The most severe administrative penalty the FREC imposes is permanent license revocation.  When the FREC revokes a license, it puts that licensee out of the real estate business.  When a broker's license is suspended or revoked, no disciplinary action is taken against the sales associates working for that broker.  However, the sales associate or broker associate cannot continue working because their employer's license is either void or ineffective.  The license of any sales associates are pare placed in involuntary inactive status.
