If Wells Fargo Takes the Lead, Will the Pack Follow? - 09/27/10 10:52 AM
I recently sent the attached e-mail to all of my short sale agents and thought that I would pass it on to those who are interested.  While not a shocking development, think what could happen if ALL lenders take the same position as Wells Fargo has with delayed closings, etc. on short sales. 
Dear Agents,
Wells Fargo has notified our short-sale negotiating team that, effective September 15, 2010, it will not issue any foreclosure sale date postponements or closing deadline extensions for the following investors--FHA, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae.  There will probably be other investors adopting this policy--most likely VA … (0 comments)

Are there always two sides to a story?  Yes, the impact to the real estate industry could be sharp.  But shouldn't the focus on whether this is a good deal for the distressed homeowner and the mortgage investors?  Is this another example of Government shoving legislation down our throats rather than to let the free market decide...

My brother in law sent me a story today regarding a home inspector who noted that the garage door on a house he was inspecting had a dent in the top center of the door.  He concluded that someone had tried to break in.  When confronted, the sellers claimed that they had no idea.  Then, someone found this little gem on YouTube.
