A 32 Second Work Out For Bloggers Too Busy To Workout.
Alan May and I have spent a great deal of time perfecting these upper and lower body workouts, specifically designed for bloggers too busy to workout.  Alan presented his Bicep Curl Video today, which was a follow-up to my Leg Exercise Video included with: The Most Terrifying Comment Ever Made On Active Rain.
The combination of both videos resulted in A 32 Second Workout For Bloggers Too Busy To Work Out.

Alan is quite advanced, and beginners should not attempt wearing a watch or heavy man jewelry, until their body is ready to handle … (50 comments)

The Most Terrifying Comment Ever Made On Active Rain. - 05/23/11 07:15 PM

The Most Terrifying Comment Ever Made On Active Rain.
This was unexpected.  I really had no concerns when I released my previous post: Only a few more openings remain for the VBloggers Group (See Below).  But, this morning, I read the most terrifying comment ever made on Active Rain.  Are you sitting down?
I was simply recruiting members to join the VBloggers Group.  It was a worthy cause, and I sincerely believe that videos will add to the value of those members that make videos of themselves, their listings, communities and events.  This is not a "Private" group.  I never expected to see this … (43 comments)

Maui, The Enchanted Island: Ocean Views and Romantic Sunsets - 05/21/11 11:36 PM
Maui, The Enchanted Island: Ocean Views and Romantic Sunsets

What makes an island like Maui enchanted?

Upon arrival at the Kahului Airport on Maui, you don't immediately feel enchanted.  In fact, after exiting the plane, the first thing that I noticed was the unfamiliar feel of humidity.  The humidity factor on Maui is much higher than in California, however, many other visitors would find it quite familiar. As you exit the Kahului Airport and drive along the nearby streets, you still don't feel enchanted. There are many of the same stores and restaurants located in most states.
But, then it happens.  You arrive at a destination on Maui, and immediately … (42 comments)

I go to Maui for a week and Active Rain gets a facelift. - 05/20/11 02:22 AM

I go to Maui for a week and Active Rain gets a facelift.
After being absent for over a week which included a vacation at Maui, I returned to find Active Rain in a complete upheaval.  We have new leaders and there were numerous blog posts about the events that drastically changed Active Rain.
While many members commented on the way that everything went down, everyone else kept blogging and blogging and blogging.  Just like always. Some individuals cared deeply, while others couldn't care less.  I was on a very popular Mai Tai diet and had no cares in the world.
But, now I am back, and I do care.

Positive Thoughts For Positive Energy - 05/07/11 12:46 PM
Positive Thoughts For Positive Energy   Do not allow others to define you. If necessary, define who you wish to become. Redefine yourself and work toward becoming that person.     Develop and sustain a positive self image.  Become a more positive person by doing good deeds for others. Share your positive outlook.   You must be willing to invest in yourself before others will invest with you. Your confidence creates the confidence that others lack.   Learning from the experiences and knowledge of others is the shortest path to new ideas and to becoming a better person. We can not … (26 comments)

Hey, Can you spare a pint? The American Red Cross can sure use it. - 05/06/11 04:10 AM

Hey, Can you spare a pint?  The American Red Cross can sure use it. Last night I donated a pint of my O+ blood, to the American Red Cross. It was sad to learn, that my last donation of blood was in 1994.  In my defense, I had been taking blood thinners and other medications, which disqualified me from donating. I have now discontinued taking those medications and have decided to start giving again.
My wife made me do it! Not really, but, I wouldn't have done it, if not for the American Red Cross calling us constantly and … (25 comments)

It's all in the way we say it.

This is one of the fastest posts that I have ever written, thanks to Judith Parker.  She left me a comment and I went to her blog and found this video, that was linked within her recent post.

I heard about this video, but, had not seen it, until just a couple of minutes ago.  If you have not seen it, you should.
Thank you Judith, for sharing Change Your Words, Change Your World. Best wishes always. We can all improve our message, by giving more thought to the … (24 comments)

Have you ever felt like the Coyote in a Roadrunner Cartoon? - 05/04/11 11:24 AM

Have you ever felt like the Coyote in a Roadrunner Cartoon?
When I was young, my parents would take us to see a Drive-in movie, YES, a Drive-in.  One of the most exciting parts of the evening was the cartoons, that proceeded the actual movie.  Cartoons are for kids and for the adults that remember them.  As we age we forget many things, but somehow manage to recall the most unlikely events that occurred a long time ago.  The happier the memory, the clearer the memory.
I can't bring back your youth, but, if you are old enough to … (47 comments)

Video Tips For Real Estate Agents: Tip #9
The overall appearance of a video makes a big difference in the entertainment value, which determines how long a viewer will stay interested and be willing to watch.
The quality of a video is a big factor in being viewed or not, so be certain that your video quality meets a viewer's expectations. Good videos should not be shaky, blurry or have poor sound.
There are many factors that impact the entertainment value of a video, but let's take a look at distance.
