Newport Beach, Newport Coast and Corona Del Mar home prices were not affected like other areas. Although they did have a decrease in home prices they have recently  been pretty steady. Except Newport Coast. Home prices have  recently been climbing up. Take a look at my chart below.
 
While prices have been steady and rising in Newport Coast, inventory is getting smaller. Take a look at the inventory in Newport coast! 2010 is finally here! There are plenty of Newport Beach homes for sale and they are selling at reduced prices. I started to think about our local real estate market in Newport Beach. I particularly wanted to look back at the Dover Shores area, mainly because that's the area I live in.Within the area there are other tracts: Dover Shores, Westcliff, Baycrest and Harbor Highlands. These numbers reflect them all.
