Newport Coast Home Prices - 09/24/10 01:30 AM
Newport Coast Home prices have continued to drop. Just this past week they did go up a bit but there still needs to be a considerable shift in demand before we see a significant change in pricing.

Last week I attended a foreclosure seminar and in Orange County, Newport Coast and Corona Del Mar were the 2 areas with the highest change June to July with foreclosures. While these 2 communities are very desirable and usually attract affluent folks, they have been hit by this horrible economy too!

In August 4 homes sold in the Dover Shores community, actually they were all in the Baycrest tract, but many refer to the entire community as Dover Shores. The sales were the following:

Should I buy now or later? I get this quiet often. Many folks think that prices may drop. Yes, I agree they may, but who knows for sure. What many buyers do not realize is that while prices may drop, interest rates will more than likely go up!
I work in a highend market, in Newport Beach, Ca. Let's just say you purchase a home today and take out a $1,000,000 loan. This is a typical loan amount here in Newport Beach. A 30 year fixed loan at 5.25% today would make your mortgage payment about $5,522 a month. Lets say next year rates go up just … (1 comments)
