New Movie Theater in Rancho Santa Margarita. If you've been past the Edward's 6 Theater located at the east end of the Target shopping center off Santa Margarita Pkwy, you'll notice that the signs are down and construction crews are remodeling the building.
At first look I thought they might be converting the theater into a large retail space for a big box retailer or grocery chain, but upon further investigation I found that it is being converted to a luxury theater operated by Cinepolis. With easy parking, there's plenty to do for all ages. The main attraction are the four softball fields which host numerous games (mostly girls fast pitch softball) during the season. Two of the fields feature ballpark style individual seating whole the other two have traditional bleacher seats. All have shaded dugouts.

Another new restaurant is coming to Rancho Santa Margarita - Bruxie Gourmet Waffle Sandwich. We're finally getting some diversity. This new restaurant will be opening on May 22, 2012 in the El Paseo Plaza in the location formerly occupied by OC Burger and Tommy Pastrami's...just next door to Round Table Pizza. Bruxie currently has two locations, Orange and Brea and have become quite popular with locals. It's kind of a different twist on sandwich bread/bun as you typically find. I'm pleased to report the successful negotiation of the short sale for a condo in the California Tesoro Homes in Rancho Santa Margarita.
This was a complicated negotiation due to the fact that there was a 1st trust deed with a major bank as well as a 2nd trust deed with a credit union. My team was successful in getting both lenders to come to agreement and settle the short sale. The unit is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath unit with 1400 square feet.
