Every year during Thanksgiving this question comes to my mind Why do people call the day after thanksgiving "Black Friday"? It could have been called Green Friday, Discount Friday, Cheap Friday,or they could have even called it"The Beginning of Christmas Shopping Day".
According to what I have heard, read, and seen; some group in society, most of the time does not associate anything good when the term black is used. For example, when I hear the term "Black Market", I know there is almost nothing good associate with it. Furthermore, when scientist talked about the "Black Hole" we know that they are talking about something bad is happening to our earthly environment. There are many more terms I can think about, such as, "Black Magic", "Black Out", "Black Neighborhood", "Black Planet" and "Black Sheep". All of these terms has not convey a positive feeling, rather it is a negative one.
Since there is almost nothing good associate with the term Black, I believe "Black Friday" is way to get the consumers to go out and spend money they don't have. Black represents darkness, where there is darkness, people can not see. When people can not see, people make decision base on feelings. When we make decisions base on feeling, we will be misled.

During the past couple of weeks, I have heard many people suggested that some financial advisers are responsible for their financial loss. And the reason some of the clients are holding some of these financial managers responsible is because many client claim that they told their financial advisers specifically to make sure that the principle of their investment is secure. If what some of these clients are saying is true should the financial advisers return the proportion of the client money that was loss?

Why do some professional have the capacity to influence others to follow them; however, many of them don't have capacity to keep those they have influenced?

Could be the fact that we have a double standard, for example, when we are doing business for ourselves, or for close relative, or even a love one we have one standard. And when we are doing business for a client we have another standard. In this case I would believe someone have a double standard. Unfortunately, when your colleagues, co-worker, and client realized that particular person does not have a core standard, principle and value that is applicable to all, then those who recognize the double standard would begin to look at this individual in a different way. Soon others will begin to say I'm not going to refer my family to him/her because they're not going to get the best deal.

Finally, in other to be an effective professional that last until you die; you must have one standard. A standard that says, I will treat everyone just like I would treat myself and other love ones I do business with.
