greenville south carolina realtor: Greenville, South Carolina is #2 on AARP Top 10 Places to Live! - 08/12/09 09:01 AM

greenville south carolina realtor: Why is a Monday Morning Like a Round of Golf?? - 06/15/09 08:36 AM
Many people dread Monday Morning!  They've had the weekend off, hopefully relaxed, had some fun, spent time with friends and loved ones; so it's no wonder they dread Monday Morning.  But it's really a matter of mindset.  If you look at Monday Morning with a different view you might learn to look forward to it.  Here's the way I see it.  I compare it to a round of golf.  You have 18 chances to start all over again and do it better.  If you're really open minded about it you can learn from your mistakes on the previous hole and improve … (2 comments)

greenville south carolina realtor: Halt of Foreclosure Sales Could Help Home Owners! - 05/15/09 08:38 AM
The South Carolina Supreme Court has ordered a halt to foreclosure proceedings.  The reason for this is to allow home owners additional time to qualify for the Mortgage Modification Program and potentially remain in their home and avoid foreclosure.
From a real estate point of view this is a positive step that should help stabilize the current market.  Not all, but many home owners will be able to remain in their homes and make their mortgage payments if they qualify for the program.  This should have an impact in two ways; reduce current inventories of homes for sale and increase the … (0 comments)

greenville south carolina realtor: How long will it take to sell my home? - 05/11/09 07:58 AM
Many home owners get frustrated when their home does not sell as quickly as they anticipated.  In many cases it's because their expectations are not set based on market conditions therefore understanding the current market and how their home should be "positioned to sell" is extremely important.
In our free market economy two key elements determine how long it will take to sell your home, and equally as important the sales price.  The first is the old rule of "supply and demand". In the real estate industry we call this Absorption Rate and it is based on homes available to purchase … (0 comments)
