Not All Insurance Coverage is the Same!

I bought my home in June 2001 and have consistently kept the same property insurance, mainly because I was comfortable with the company I had chose so many years ago, and quite simply I did not have to do anything to renew each year.

However, after visiting with John Edwards of All State Insurance, I realized maybe it was time to revisit my home owner's and auto policy. First off, I have to say John Edwards is a true professional and has a passion to do the right thing and his follow up is incredible. I have referred John to many, and he has been able to help most. This is mainly because of his attention to detail of each policy and his willingness to spend time reviewing his findings one on one with each customer. It was very sad to hear that after an hour of chatting with a client about her auto insurance, she opted out of John's advice for better coverage in case of a wreck, and what was the premium increase they were discussing? A whopping $4.00 a month, and accident? She hit several cars and will probably be sued in the near future. Unfortunately, he was not able to help her after the wreck except for the coverage she had chosen earlier that afternoon. I like the rates are competitive!

Not all Home Insurance are equal, and until you have a claim it is primarily all about the premium. However, when the chips are down and you have to file a claim, that is when you know if you are covered adequately. It is important fully understand the difference between Actual Cash Value and Replacement Cost and John can assist you with that. All State makes it easy to keep track of all your valueables in a Digital Locker in case something happens and you need to make a claim.

For auto they say, Our guarantee is simple: If you're not happy with how your Allstate car insurance claim goes—for any reason—Allstate will give you credit on your premium for up to six months. Nobody else does that.

The housing market is changing In and Around Springfield, Mo!!! There are 3760 houses on the Market currently, 1159 are specific to Springfield, Mo, 209 in Ozark, Mo, and 209 in Nixa, Mo.

In the last 13 months, our housing supply for under 100,000 has changed drastically.

There are actually more houses selling, expiring, or withdrawing than are being listed daily in our market. This is allowing our inventory to decrease throughout the whole Multi-list system, which is more favorable for sellers than in year's past. Of course, the only way you can really know how you are personally affected in this market is to have Realtor® do a thorough Comparative Market Analysis. Within each of my analysis, I anaylize the street, the neighborhood, the school district and the market zone, year built, size of house, as well as extras. I do preview a variety of properties in different price ranges daily so I know the marketplace. Just an FYI, this is also the formula that I use with buyers to qualify the best price to help them a buy a house, not loose it!
