Easily Add Photos To Your Blog Posts - 02/18/09 10:25 AM
In a previous post I talked about using Picnik as a way to create a custom header and background for your ActiveRain blog. This is a great use for Picnik, and really makes your blog stand out. However, there are many other uses for the site. Adding images and photos to your blog posts makes them easier to read, more appealing to the reader, and can even help to illustrate a point or give an example of something. I'm sure many of you have seen the blogs here on ActiveRain with custom headers and backgrounds and wondered how you could get your own. Brad Andersohn put together a great tutorial on how to use the ActiveRain Blog Customizer - The "NEW" ActiveRain Blog Customizer - Version 2.0 - and in it he mentioned a great site, Picnik. Many people have asked me "James, how do I get a COOL ActiveRain blog like you?" and before Picnik existed I would have had to say use a program like Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, or any other image editing program.
